The new calendar of days stretches in front of me, each one a unique and different station on a journey that goes as yet (mostly) unplanned. It's a delicious feeling, this notion that I'm about to set out on a great adventure!
One of my first stops is New Orleans in mid-January. It's ImagingUSA, the annual convention for Professional Photographers of America. I'm excited for this trip--reconnecting with acquaintances I see only once a year and recharging my professional batteries after a very busy holiday season.
I'm also starting a "4 sentences" project...creating a synopsis of every day in 4 sentences...it should be interesting reading towards the end of 2012... :)
And, for the first time in a bajillion years, I did NOT purchase a paper calendar to act as my security blanket with its digital counterpart. This is new territory for me--I've ALWAYS had a calendar to touch, feel and see--but I think I'm ready.
Did you make resolutions for the new year? If so, I wish you great success in keeping every one of them.
It's leap year--and that means we have 366 precious days--make every one of them count!
